DrinkUp Live Podcast is produced by BevAssets, LLC. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit drinkuppodcast.com, why we collect it, and what choices you have. We keep this simple on purpose. We are a podcast, not a data business.

Information you give us

The only personal information we ask for directly is your email address, and only when you choose to give it. That happens in two places on this site: the newsletter signup and the archive signup for new episode alerts. If you email us or book a call through our scheduling link, we also receive whatever information you include in that message or booking.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our host records basic technical information when a page loads. This can include your general location at the city or region level, your browser and device type, the pages you viewed, and the site or link that referred you. We may also use a website analytics service to understand which pages and topics are useful. This information is used in aggregate. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.

Embedded players and third party services

Some parts of this site load content from other companies. Episode players, video, and scheduling tools are examples. When that content loads, those companies may set their own cookies and collect their own usage data under their own privacy policies. The services we currently rely on include:

We use your email address to send episode announcements, the newsletter, and occasional updates about the show. We use technical and analytics information to improve the site and understand which content is worth making more of. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade our email list.

Your choices

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect right away. You can also ask us to remove your information entirely by emailing the address below, and we will do it. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, though some embedded players may not work normally if you do.

Data retention and security

We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed, or until you ask us to remove it. We rely on established service providers who use industry standard protections. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Children

This site covers the beverage alcohol industry and is intended for adults of legal drinking age. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date above. Material changes will be noted at the top of the page.
